Our church is located on the outskirts of the town of Elgin, Iowa which is nestled in the rural scenic river valleys of Northeast Iowa. Elgin FBC is unique in that it serves a community of believers from multiple small towns, covering approximately a 30-mile radius of Elgin, Iowa. At Elgin FBC, we are committed to biblical teaching, serving Jesus and his church, and making the beautiful person and work of Christ known in our community and beyond.

Register for this lunch and learn event with a live stream from Women in Apologetics. Titled "No Substitutes," the session is designed to equip you to recognize that truth is not subjective or interchangeable, but firmly rooted in the person of Jesus. Through biblical teaching and practical sessions, you’ll learn to think clearly, discern confidently, and take ownership of a faith grounded in the unchanging truth of God. Emerald Crossing VBS
Come join us for an exciting week of VBS at Elgin First Baptist Church! This year we adventure through Psalm 23 from Monday, July 27 to Friday, July 31.
During the week we will focus on the life of David, the shepherd-king, and his example of how to cross from worry to peace, fear to faith, and uncertainty to assurance.
Each night kicks off with a free meal at 5:00 PM. Sessions are from 6-8:00 PM. We have an adults class as well!
